Cottage pod Čihalkou Olešnice offers year-round accommodation in the Orlické Mountains.

The cottage is located in a quiet area about 3 km behind Olešnice in the Orlické Mountains.

You can drive your car to the cottage as there is a car park below.
Other options include taking a bus from Nové Město nad Metují, or from Náchod through Nový Hrádek to Olešnice in the Orlické Mountains.

Cottage equipment - accommodation

• on the first floor there are four rooms with 16 beds and extra beds can be added
• in the ground floor of the cottage there is a meeting room with a TV
• dining room for 20 people
• kitchen with a stove, fridge and pantry
• separate bathrooms for men and women
• storage room for shoes, skis, bicycles etc.
• the cottage is fully equipped with gas heating and hot water supply

Fully equipped kitchen for cooking:

• 2x stoves
• 2 x fridges with a freezer
• microwave oven
• dishwasher

In summer you use the barbecue, which is included in the cottage equipment.

You can also have a meal at Mountain Hotel Čihalka about 200 metres away, not far from Olešnice in the Orlické Mountains.

Sports and tourism in the Orlické Mountains

In addition to accommodation, there are many opportunities in the Orlické Mountains for sport and tourism.

In summer you can go hiking or cycling. Attractive places in the Orlické Mountains include Vrchmezí, the chalet Na Šerlichu, Šerlišský Mlýn, the highest point in the Orlické Mountains – Velká Deštná, or the Deštné mountain centre in the Orlické Mountains.
